FOOTBALL

SETH ENKE, A-H-S-T (Avoca): The senior quarterback ran for 115 yards and passed for 124 yards in Friday’s victory over Madrid, 42-41, including two touchdowns.

NICK GEORGE, Bondurant-Farrar: With less than two minutes left in regulation play for the game, the senior wide receiver had an 88 yard touchdown that put Bondurant-Farrar over Collins-Maxwell-Baxter, 12-7.

TAYLOR NELSON, Valley (West Des Moines): The defending class 4-A champion’s senior quarterback, who also was crowned Homecoming King at the game, ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns on Valley’s win Friday night over Mason City, 45-13, including a 73 yard touchdown run in the third quarter. He also passed for 115 yards.

DALTON PARROTT, Dowling Catholic: The junior runningback ran for 123 yards and three touchdowns in Dowling’s Friday night win over Southeast Polk.

MICHAEL WETRICH, Ottumwa: The senior wide receiver had two touchdowns and a total of 151 yards in Friday’s 24-12 win over Des Moines Lincoln. The total yards included a 66 yard touchdown on an interception.

LOUIE WICKETT, Madrid: The senior runningback rushed for 319 yards and four touchdowns in Friday’s game against A-H-S-T. His total number of yards in Friday’s game plus yards from games of this season put him over 1600 yards in six games.

RANDY WOOSTER, Eagle Grove: The senior quarterback ran for 220 yards and a touchdown on Friday night’s win over Pocahontas Area/Pomeroy-Palmer, 37-0. In addition, Wooster threw for 180 yards and four touchdowns.

TYLER CHRISTIANS, Urbandale: In last week’s CIML Conference meet he placed second two strokes back from the leader.

 

VOLLEYBALL

LINDSEY PETERSEN, Ankeny: In last Tuesday night’s game against Indianola she had 10 kills and nine ace serves.
