Matt Duka, Mountain Valley: Rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown to lead the Falcons (6-0) past Greely 40-0.

Caleb Bowden, Falmouth: Rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns to help the Yachtsmen blank Gray-New Gloucester 36-0. Falmouth (3-3) kept its slim playoff hopes alive with the much-needed victory.

Jack Mallis, Windham: Rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Eagles past Bonny Eagle 14-0. The victory propelled Windham as the team to beat in Western A.

Imadhi Zagon, Portland: Rushed for 301 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs past Gorham 54-12. Zagon has rushed for 891 yards and 12 touchdowns this season for Portland, which has won four straight.

GIRLS SOCCER

Amy Jones, Cony: Goalie stopped 18 shots to help the Rams earn a key 3-1 win over Morse. The Rams entered the game trailing the Shipbuilders by 17 points in the Heal points. The victory pulled them to within four.

Danica Hurley, Richmond: Scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Bobcats over Buckfield 5-0 in a Class D crossover game. Richmond is 11-0-0 and is ranked No. 1 in Western D.

Eliza Estabrook, Bangor: Scored three goals to lead the Rams past Skowhegan 7-1. Bangor, which improved to 9-1-1, has allowed just that one goal in its last four games. It sits in fourth in the latest Heal points as well.

FIELD HOCKEY

Brylie Walker, Fryeburg: Scored the decisive goal with 4:31 left in the game to lead Fryeburg past previously unbeaten York in what is likely the biggest upset in the sport this fall. Fryeburg finished 5-9. York still earned the top seed in Western B, but finished the regular season 13-1.

Erin Dillon, Freeport: Scored a goal and assisted on three others in a 5-0 win over Poland. The Falcons finished 9-4-1 and sixth in Western C.

BOYS SOCCER

Kyle Lucas, Falmouth: Scored the game-winning goal with 1:34 left to lift the Yachtsmen past Greely 2-1 in a showdown of two of the top teams in the state. Greely is ranked fifth in Western A while Falmouth (9-0-2) is ranked first in Western B.

Nick George, Bangor: Scored his school-record 53rd career goal and added two assists in a 6-0 win over Skowhegan. The previous record-holder? Nick’s brother, Dylan. Bangor is 11-0-0 and ranked No. 1 in Eastern A.
