Notes: This week, the top teams did a great job of holding their own. The Brooke Bruins managed their second shutout in a row, both coming on 27-0 wins. The Bruins rolled past University (previously ranked number 8) and held on to the number 5 spot. George Washington escaped with a win at Riverside, improving to 5-2. The Bruins have won their last three in a row.

Notes: Morgantown finally edged into the top ten with a big win over North Marion. The Mohigans will have to work extra hard next week when they play an undefeated Bruins team that has outscored opponents 215-94 on the year, and allowed 0 points in their last two outings (against top-echelon teams). Spring Valley will take on Capital, a team that managed to hand South Charleston their first loss of the season. At 7-0, the Timberwolves have the best record in West Virginia high school football.
